Bruce Willis’ daughter on her ‘really aggressive’ dementia

Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah recently shed some light on her father’s battle with dementia.

Tallulah opened up about the “Die Hard” star’s health struggles during an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Wednesday.

“That’s what I think I’ve learned is the best thing you could ask for,” she explained to the “Scream” star, 48.

She added: “When I’m with him, I see love, and it’s my dad and he loves me, which is really special.”

Tallulah explained that Willis, 68, “has a very aggressive cognitive disease. (a) A form of dementia that is very rare.

Barrymore then asked why the Wally clan wanted to be “so open” about their health. Tallulah replied: “Well, I think it’s twofold. On the one hand, it’s who we are as a family, but it’s really important for us to spread awareness.”

Willis shares three daughters with ex Demi Moore — Romer, 35; Tallahassee, 29; and Scout, 32 – and two daughters with wife Emma Hemming-Willis – Mabel, 11; and Evelyn, 9.

“If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family to help other people, change it to make something beautiful about it, then that’s really what we do. It’s special,” Tallulah said.

He continued: “And part of what has been a really beautiful way for me to heal through that is to be kind of an archaeologist for my dad’s world, his little trinkets and doodads.”

The “Moonlighting” alum was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February, when her family announced the news in a joint statement.

“Even though it hurts, it’s a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” the family said. “FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone.

In 2022, Willis’ loved ones announced that he suffered from aphasia, a condition that alters one’s ability to speak and write. He has since retired from acting to focus on his health battle.

Last month, “Moonlighting” creator Glen Gordon-Carvin told The Post that he’s “totally non-verbal” when he visits her.

“My sense from the first three minutes he knows who I am,” Caron said. “He used to be an avid reader — he didn’t want anyone to know that — and he’s not reading anymore. All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce.
